Bitcoin
Bitcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system called the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central repository or single administrator. It was invented by an unknown person or group of people under the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009. The system is peer-to-peer, and transactions take place between users directly, without an intermediary. These transactions are verified by network nodes and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain.
Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. As of February 2015, over 100,000 merchants and vendors accepted bitcoin as payment. Bitcoin can also be held as an investment. According to research produced by Cambridge University in 2017, there are 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin.

|
WebMoney
WebMoney Transfer commonly known as WebMoney is an internet currency system that was established in 1998 in Moscow. The unit of payment is called WebMoney units (WM-units). No bank account or credit card is required to open or operate a WebMoney account.
Skrill
Skrill (formerly Moneybookers) is an e-commerce business that allows payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet, with a focus on low-cost international money transfers. It is owned and operated by Skrill Limited, a UK-based company registered as a Money Service Business with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and licensed to operate within the European Union.
Litecoin
Litecoin (LTC or Ł) is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency and open source software project released under the MIT/X11 license. Creation and transfer of coins is based on an open source cryptographic protocol and is not managed by any central authority. While inspired by, and in most regards technically nearly identical to Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin has some technical differences compared to Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies, such as the adoption of Segregated Witness, and the Lightning Network. These effectively allow more transactions to be processed by the network in a given time, reducing potential bottlenecks, as seen with Bitcoin. Litecoin also has almost zero payment cost and facilitates payments approximately four times faster than Bitcoin
Litecoin was released via an open-source client on GitHub on October 7, 2011 by Charlie Lee, a former Google employee. The Litecoin network went live on October 13, 2011. It was a fork of the Bitcoin Core client, differing primarily by having a decreased block generation time (2.5 minutes), increased maximum number of coins, different hashing algorithm (scrypt, instead of SHA-256), and a slightly modified GUI.
Ethereum
Ethereum is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform featuring smart contract (scripting) functionality. It provides a decentralized Turing-complete virtual machine, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which can execute scripts using an international network of public nodes. Ethereum also provides a cryptocurrency token called “ether”, which can be transferred between accounts and used to compensate participant nodes for computations performed. “Gas”, an internal transaction pricing mechanism, is used to mitigate spam and allocate resources on the network.
Ethereum was proposed in late 2013 by Vitalik Buterin, a cryptocurrency researcher and programmer. Development was funded by an online crowdsale between July and August of 2014. The system went live on 30 July 2015, with 11.9 million coins “premined” for the crowdsale. This accounts for approximately 13 percent of the total circulating supply.
In 2016 Ethereum was forked into two separate blockchains, as a result of the collapse of The DAO project, thereby creating Ethereum Classic. The new forked version was Ethereum (ETH) and the one that continued its existence is Ethereum Classic (ETC).
Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash (BCH/BCC) is a hard fork of the cryptocurrency bitcoin. The fork occurred on August 1, 2017. On July 20, 2017, the bitcoin miners voted, 97% in favor, on the Bitcoin Improvement Proposal (BIP) 91. The proposal, by Bitmain Warranty engineer James Hilliard, was to activate Segregated Witness.
Some members of the bitcoin community felt that adopting BIP 91 without increasing the block-size limit would simply delay confronting the issue and that it favored people who wanted to treat bitcoin as a digital investment rather than as a transactional currency. They announced implementation of Bitcoin Cash as a hard fork for August 1. It inherited the transaction history of the bitcoin currency on that date, but all later transactions were separate. Block 478558 was the last common block and thus the first Bitcoin Cash block was 478559. Bitcoin Cash cryptocurrency wallet started to reject BTC block and BTC transactions since 13:20 UTC, Aug 1st 2017 because it used a timer to initiate a fork. It implements a block size increase to 8 MB. Bitcoin Cash started futures trading at 0.5 BTC on July 23, but dropped to 0.1 BTC by July 30. Market cap appeared since 23:15 UTC, August 1, 2017. As of 29 October 2017, one Bitcoin Cash was being traded at roughly 0.084 Bitcoin.
Neteller
Neteller is an e-money/e-wallet service owned and operated by publicly traded British global payments company Paysafe Group Plc. The Neteller service is used to transfer money to and from merchants, such as forex trading firms, social networks firms, and can withdraw funds directly using the Net+ card or transfer the balance to their own bank accounts.
Neteller was created in 1999 in Canada and moved to the Isle of Man in 2004. Paysafe Group Plc is listed as an “Authorised Electronic Money Institution”.
In 2015, Optimal Payments Plc (now Paysafe Group Plc) finalized a transformational transaction for the global payments industry – the acquisition of Skrill Group, one of Europe’s largest online payments systems and among the world’s largest independent digital wallet providers.
Neteller is not a bank and does not lend customers’ funds. It is required under FCA e-money regulations to maintain customer funds in separate trust accounts, separate from its operating cash, sufficient to repay all customer balances at the same time.
